Call for Papers: LSPHE Conference (8 Sept 2023)
We are delighted to announce that the eighth edition of the Languages for Specific Purposes in Higher Education conference, LSPHE 2023, will be held at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, on Friday 8th September 2023.
We would like to invite contributions for presentations, which will normally be 20 minutes in length, followed by 10 minutes of questions and discussion.
Please email a brief proposal (up to 200 words) to David Tual (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 31st March 2023.
Whilst we would particularly like to encourage contributions related to the fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), proposals from other LSP fields are also welcome. Contributions may focus on, but are not limited to, the following LSP-related themes:
- Teaching practice & methodology
- Embedding LSP elements in general/multidisciplinary courses
- Developing students’ skills
- Curriculum design
- ICT and innovation
- Teacher’s role and skills
The conference will take place over one day on Friday 8th September 2023. There will be a small fee (to be confirmed) which will include lunch and refreshments.
Further information regarding registration, alongside a provisional programme, will be circulated by email and posted on our website (www.lsphe.org) around April.
