Welcome from the Leadership Trainers<\/h2>\n

Welcome to the\u00a0Leadership Training workshops<\/strong>, which offer you a highly professional leadership development experience with CercleS experts. The workshops will help you get input and practical insight into how to become a skilled and self-reflective leader who can act effectively in diverse settings and situations.<\/p>\n

Theoretical input will be integrated into individual, pair and group tasks. All activities will be based on peer work, self-reflection and application of ideas to your own context.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Leadership Training workshops<\/strong> will also give you an opportunity to get to know diverse language centres, create valuable professional networks or simply enjoy a special and intensive learning experience in a safe, supportive and synergetic environment.<\/p>\n

The Leadership Workshop: Essential Competences<\/strong> deals with essential aspects of leadership in participants\u2019 individual contexts, and reflects on the role of personal values underpinning one\u2019s own leadership approach.<\/p>\n

At the end of the programme, participants will be able to:<\/p>\n

  • conceptualise leadership<\/li>\n
  • recognise and reflect on the personal values and challenges underpinning their own leadership approach<\/li>\n
  • apply self-leadership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • understand the importance of communication in leadership<\/li>\n
    • reflect on communication mechanisms and dynamics<\/li>\n
    • understand their own communication strengths and weaknesses<\/li>\n
    • choose appropriate means of communication with staff (individuals and teams)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • reflect on their own conflict biography<\/li>\n
      • identify different types of conflicts<\/li>\n
      • apply conflict analysis tools<\/li>\n
      • plan appropriate interventions in conflicts<\/li>\n
