One of the most frequently cited reasons is a lack of learner motivation.<\/p>\n<p>In response, the ECML published its <a href=\"https:\/\/edl.ecml.at\/lv\/About-the-day\/Motivation-manifesto\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Motivation Manifesto<\/strong><\/a> on the European Day of Languages 2025, highlighting the need for a broad and sustainable motivational ecology supported by the collective efforts of multiple actors.
