Programme available for the third annual CercleS Teacher Training Week (19-22 May 2026, Namur, Belgium)

In collaboration with the European Confederation of Language Centres in Higher Education (CercleS) and the Réseau National des Centres de Langues de l’Enseignement Supérieur de France (Ranacles), the UNamur Language Center is organizing the upcoming CercleS Teacher Training Week.

This year’s topic | Co-operation, collaboration and integration: the role of LSP instructors in higher education

The event will take place on 19-22 May 2026 in Namur, Belgium, and will bring together around 30 participants from across Europe for four days of exchange, reflection, and hands-on collaboration.

 

This Teacher Training Week will provide a forum for exploring innovative forms of collaboration between language instructors and content specialists, with the aim of enhancing student learning. Key areas of focus include:

  • Co-operation between language instructors and content specialists
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration and program integration
  • Research-driven pedagogical strategies to support diverse learners

 

Registration and participation fees

The participation fees include the training sessions, accommodation and breakfast (19-21 May), coffee breaks, lunches, the gala dinner and cultural activities.

  • CercleS members: €500
  • CercleS members without accommodation: €300
  • Non-members: €650
  • Non-members without accommodation: €450

Priority is given to CercleS members (including RANACLES). Non-member participation is subject to approval by the CercleS Executive Committee.
